I recently got my new puppy Coco when she was nine weeks old. After a couple of weeks, I noticed that she is definitely in the puppy phase and I felt that I needed some help and some pointers on how to control the behavior. I came across Daniel’s profile on Instagram, and gave him a call and it was the best thing I did. Daniel is awesome!!! He is great with Coco and she loves him. He really helped me focus on tackling some of the behavioral issues and walking her correctly. Although Coco is still a puppy and her brain is not fully developed, Daniel has given me some great tools to work with her until she’s a little older and we can continue the training where she can then really follow through. Once Coco is 7 months old , I will be reaching out to Daniel again to continue his eight week program that he has. I highly recommend Daniel. He is very knowledgeable, informative and great with dogs.

He is great at breaking each thing down step by step to help the person understand how it works. I rescued a dog from Peggy Adams she is 1yr 6 months they found her on the streets Daniel was a great trainer with her , she learned quickly from him I would recommend Daniel to anyone that needs a patient trainer and a good one

In September of 2023 I made a phone call on a whim that quite literally changed everything. I had two dogs that were starting to fight with each other, absolutely no structure in the home and feeling absolutely at my whits end. 7 months later and I can’t even remember what that feels like. Daniel is an amazing trainer! He has trained all three of my dogs varying in sizes and temperaments. From a yorkie pooh to a cane corso and an American bully, he’s done an amazing job with them all. If you’re serious about having a well trained dog , I highly recommend West Palm beach dog academy.

Daniel has now trained 2 of my dogs (a 2 year old corgi and 3 year old Irish wolfhound) I cannot say more positive things about him and his dog training. We struggled with leash walking with both dogs; jumping at other dogs, barking, pulling on the leash and now post 8 week training course, I can walk my dogs off leash next to me while walking past other dogs without any issues. He provided excellent guidance and I feel like walking my dogs is such an enjoyable experience now, when before training it was so stressful and I would avoid all other dogs on walks. I can take my corgi to the beach and I no longer have to worry about her running away. I have worked with 4 other dog trainers before I met Daniel and I can truly say he is the best dog trainer out there. You will not regret your choice in him as a trainer and he is worth every single penny!!!

Daniel is a very caring and competent dog trainer. He gave our frightened dog so much confidence. She is now a new much better dog who behaves ands responds. She is so much friendlier to us now. Daniel is absolutely fantastic! He’s more than just a trainer. He’s a dog lover to the core. And that is part of what makes him special. He realizes that there’s a time for discipline, and there’s a time to let up a little, and let a dog enjoy being a dog. I watched him train little Tito over the course of a few months. When they started, Tito was very excitable, and with that personality came some challenging traits. He would bark a lot at people, and try to wiggle out of our arms to get to other dogs. Daniel introduced some very effective ways of getting Tito to change those behaviors. And a lot of that comes from not just training the dog, but training the owner too! 😂 We don’t always realize the cause behind the behaviors, and it’s very common to want to impose discipline that is contrary to what the dog is really thinking, and therefore what causes the behavior challenge. Dogs want to please their owners, they want to feel safe, and they also want their owners to feel safe. And once both parties realize how that’s going to happen, everything changes for the better. I also board my other dog, Cosmo, with Daniel. He loves being there, and he comes home, a smiling, confident and well exercised little man! I couldn’t recommend Daniel West Palm Beach Dog Academy any more highly. The absolute best!
